Lola was shot in the chest as a small kitten. She was found by someone
who brought her to the nearest veterinarian. From that vet to the next,
Lola traveled until she found a veterinarian who could care for her.
The bullet was too close to her heart to be removed, so this vet cared
for her for two years until she was ready to go to a shelter. She ended up at
the Moore Humane Society. She spent her days waiting
and watching until she found Mary Ann.
