I’ve loved all the short stories. Isabella’s Crib was especially nice, as I was thinking of our twins. Katy spent lots of time bedfast in the hospital (about 6 weeks) and I could imagine those babies in her womb, thinking some of Isabella’s thoughts. And then, after they were born, the changes in their being “wrapped up”, etc. You really got it right. God Loves Cowboys reminded me somewhat of living in Livingston, Texas. People go around here in their blue jeans, etc. – very casual. Then when we go into the Houston area to visit our kids, I have to worry about what to wear that won’t “embarrass them”. I’m going through that at the moment as I attend bridal showers, etc. for our 2nd grand daughter’s upcoming wedding. Growing up in a tiny town in the middle of the Mojave Desert in southern California was very similar. No one cared what anyone wore – it was the person who mattered.

What a nice thing and hope you get your picture. I'm going to send this to our local newspaper "Post and Courier" in Letters to the editor and see if they will publish it.
Let me know if that is OK with you. Jim ... South Carolina

I am the line dancer gal who spoke with you before we started on Tuesday. Picked up your card as you
suggested. Shared your singing in Walmart story with friends and they were so moved. How I wish I had been there to photograph that moment!! But doubt a photograph could really capture the feel and emotions or
energy between those people. Your description helped! Lovely experience and so glad you shared it.

Mary Ann,
I read your story about singing in Wal Mart this morning. It was great. I talked to you yesterday at the convention store.
